Happily Ever After

DVC Application

So Justin applied for the DVC Sales Representative position yesterday. I am wishing with all of my heart and soul that he gets it. I miss Florida and Disney World so much. I miss being able to go to the parks whenever I wanted to, I miss pin trading together. I miss watching the Fireworks from the Polynesian or the Contemporary. I miss Twistee Treat, and I miss our Qudoba runs. I miss the sun, losing weight, and being happy. I miss it so much and I would be so happy if Justin got that job, or anything at Disney. On one hand I wish I had stuck with my plan of moving down there. I know when I was getting ready to leave Justin said that maybe a year from then we could move to Florida. I have always said that it was my true home, and I still believe that to my very core. I love Disney and every feeling it brings. If I could live in Florida and work for Disney again, and be able to go to the parks whenever I wanted to, that would be amazing. Even if it was just me and Justin going to one on the weekend or whatever it may be. That would be enough for me. I don’t want to be to excited because I am going to have my hopes up, but I am really, really, really hoping that he gets the job. It would be a dream come true for me to be back in Florida. I miss it so much.

World of Disney. Princess room, zone 1, 2, and 2 (Girls). From there you can either go into Snow White (Infants) or Map (Pens and Souvenirs). From Snow White you enter into Bird (Men’s clothing), and then into Great Hall North (Unisex shirts and hats). From Map you can enter Villains (Jewelry and Purses) and then Great Hall South (Women’s clothing).  From Great Hall South you go into Magic, then into the Enchanted Dining Room (Kitchen things) , and then into Adventure (Boy’s). I have worked in every single room, worked at almost every single register, and could tell you exactly where every single thing went. When I went to A or B lift I could pick out of the bins and bring them directly to the rooms where the items belong. I could tell you where the Rainforest Cafe is, where the AMC theaters are, anything any guest needed to know I could tell them. I really wasn’t close with anyone I worked with, I was lucky enough to get rides home on some occasions, but mostly I bussed it. The crowds were insane, but the job was fairly simple. The hardest part was staying on your feet for such extended periods of time, and being deployed. I was able to work to at Disney Hollywood Studios for two weeks and I was right next to American Idol, at the Indiana Jones cart, Tatooine Traders, and the Prop Shop, along with most of the shops when you first walk into the park. I also worked at the Emporium on Main Street in Magic Kingdom for a week. I was deployed to Epcot for a couple weeks working at the two gifts shops right underneath “the ball.”

I visited Port Orleans Riverside, The Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Disney Swan and Dolphin, The Boardwalk, Animal Kingdom Lodge (Kidani Village and Jambo House), The Beach Club, Saratoga Springs, Polynesian Resort, and Caribbean Resort. Justin and I pin traded at all of these resorts and know all of the places to look for those elusive pin boards.

I went to both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach and loved them both. I have been to all four parks (especially Magic Kingdom) and know just about everything there is to know about what to ride first, where to eat, and what to do when it is crowded.

I love Disney World. It’s what I know and what I enjoy. I miss working there even though it was the most difficult thing that I have done so far.
